Art Classes..It really IS Easy Mixing Green and other thoughts....
Updated: Feb 28
I hope you are all doing well. I am fine and am still actually enjoying the isolation. I am not sure that will ever change for me, but I do miss getting together with my good friends. In time.
I have been painting a fair bit and have been selling both original paintings and limited edition reproductions on a regular basis. I have created some small works on board and on tile for my Etsy shop and am having fun setting that up as well as taking a plethora of mini courses on Skillshare, a subscription based website with TONS of short classes. I am afraid that I am like a kid in a candy shop. Writing, painting, illustration, business, creating and more creating! It is quickly taking the place of netflix. So much to learn.
I am finally going to hold a few LIVE classes at the McMillan Arts centre on the 4 weds in April. I have taught a few online classes but I really miss the connection and feel that people learn so much more as I go with the flow of "blipless" interaction and am able to answer questions and help with difficulties people are having just by reading body language (and hearing sighs...etc). I may teach these short classes online, and if you would be interested please let me know. If the interest is there I will set up a couple of classes. These color mixing classes would be quite easy to teach online as they are pretty straight forward. I created a video the other day to explain the two. Not too terribly comfortable in front of the camera but decided just to be myself. Thats the easiest way to go!
The first class is ready for sign up now. "It IS Easy Mixing Green" (click here )
other classes are on the drawing board for April, stay tuned.
Spring is coming! I can feel it! Yippee!!
