*Must have acrylic painting experience It's the layers in a painting that give it that glow, mystique and feeling, as well as the palette you choose. In this workshop the artist will take you on a journey through her west coast painting process. From thumbnail sketches based on your reference, through the layers of transparent, semi -transparent and opaque negative space to the wind down final brushstrokes. When teaching, Cindy understands the importance of interpreting a subject in your own unique way but also encourages her "no masterpieces rule. " Workshops are for learning new techniques, so relax and don't worry; the masterpieces will come later."
