I named this style of painting Art Nouveau/Folk Fusion after being inspired by the art of Alphonse Mucha and the need to get my thoughts and stories out in a fun story like manner. 

Each painting most often features a tree as a starting point then develops from there. While my west coast landscapes challenge my skills, this style of  painting brings me joy in a much different way by becoming a bridge between the creative writer and the painter within me.
