Service Description

Green has to be the most difficult colour to use correctly and effectively in painting. In this class we will mix a wide variety of greens and place them in an abstract and fun design rather than a “less than exciting” colour chart. I will show you how to effectively de-saturate, lighten, and grey your greens and by the end of this class you will have a great looking useful chart to refer to whenever needed. (I use mine all the time) This class is the first of four I am putting together to solve those problems I hear most from beginner to intermediate artists. "How do I stop green from being so green!" is the first question I will answer. Stay tuned to sign up for the next class that will answer "How do I paint trees like you?!" As a Vancouver Island born and raised artist I have lived most of my life in the middle of green. I have painted so many trees and Island scenes that I have lost count. It is an obsession of mine that is near and dear to my heart. 9 seats max. Covid protocol is in place. Participants must wear a mask entering the room and leaving their seat. Hand sanitizer will be at the door. If any participant has been out of the country within 14 days of the class or who have any signs of illness they must cancel and find a replacement for their seat on their own or from a waiting list.
